Lorraine V. Davis

Lorraine Virginia Davis, age 76 of Georgetown, Ohio formerly of Cleves, Ohio died Monday, April 28, 2014 at her residence. She was a retired secretary for the Taylor High School, member of the Zion United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. Lorraine was born March 23, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Ollie and Virginia (Bledsoe) Franke. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son – Gary Davis, one brother – Bob Franke and one sister – Thelma Grayson.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years - Wayne Davis, whom she married April 11, 1956; three children – Jeff Davis and wife Kim of North Port, Florida, Karen Colwell and husband Dick of Georgetown, Ohio and Michelle Farwick and husband Jon of Cleves, Ohio; one daughter-in-law – Kathy Mullins of Owenton, Kentucky; twelve grandchildren – Andy Davis of Cleves, Ohio, Shawn Damen of Georgetown, Ohio, Justin Davis of Owenton, Kentucky, Kyle Damen of Georgetown, Ohio, Megan Colwell of Marietta, Georgia, Jacob Davis of North Port, Florida, Nathan Farwick of Cleves, Ohio, Makenzie Davis of Owenton, Kentucky, Ben Farwick of Cleves, Ohio, Becky Davis of North Port, Florida and Cody and Katy Colwell both of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother – Henry Franke and wife Gail of Alexandria, Kentucky and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Vernon Green will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
