Zella Mae Smitson

Zella Mae Smitson, age 80 of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, November 10, 2006 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Smitson was born on August 29, 1926 in Coopersville, Ohio the daughter of the late Hobart and Ruth (McBeath) Freeland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walter Smitson in 2005 and one brother, William Henry Freeland.

Mrs. Smitson is survived by three daughters - Sandra Lee Lamm and husband, Randall of Albright, West Virginia, Connie Sue Geier and husband, Lee of Cincinnati, Ohio and Deborah Faye Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio; one son - Charles Ricky Smitson and wife, Diane of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren - Steven and Stacey Geier, Ricky Geier, Charles and Jessie Smitson, Charles Smitson, Rachael Casey and Daniel Johnson; six great grandchildren - Sasha, Sydney and Sophie Geier, Brenden, Brookelyn and Barrett Casey; one sister - Helen Anderson and husband Jack of Anderson Township, Ohio and five nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Randall J. Lamm will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Higginsport Cemetery in Higginsport, Ohio.
