Winifred Kathryn Flaugher

Winifred Kathryn Reninger Flaugher, 100, of Nampa, Idaho, died on August 23, 2022, at Karcher Estates, Nampa, ID.
Winnie was born in Oil City, PA on April 9, 1922 and will be interred in Maplewood Cemetery, Ripley, OH, next to her husband, Hayden Andrew Flaugher.
Survivors include daughters Kathryn Renee Burgess, Charlotte, NC; Icy Karol (Tom) Hawksworth, Caldwell, ID; and son Hayden Andrew Flaugher, Jr., Celebration, FL; 6 grandchildren and 19 great- grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
Winnie was the youngest of 9 children born to Maude and Alvin Reninger of Oil City, PA. She graduated from high school in Franklin, PA. She met her husband, Hayden in Tampa, FL and were married in Kentucky.
The family moved many times due to Hayden's work, living in Lafayette, IN; Ste. Genevieve, MO; Park Forest, IL; Idaho Falls, ID; Downers Grove, IL; and Sarasota, FL. Upon the death of her husband in 2012, she moved with her daughter, Icy, to Roseburg, OR and then to Nampa, ID. When Winnie turned 100, her family in Idaho had a wonderful birthday party for her, attended by many family members and friends.
She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Order of the Amaranth having served as officers in chapters in Idaho Falls, ID, Downers Grove, IL, and Sarasota, FL. She was a life-long Presbyterian.

She was buried next to her husband in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
