William Floyd Smith

William F. Smith, age 72 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Smith was a railroad clerk for Conrail, a Korean War Air Force veteran and a member of the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. He was born on May 13, 1933 in Evarts, Kentucky the son of the late Henry Clay and Bertha (Wilson) Smith.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife - Mae (Newberry) Smith; two daughters - Kathy Ann (Kelly) Elam of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Karen Fay (Russell) Lewis of Williamsburg, Ohio; two sons - William F. Smith, Jr. of Georgetown, Ohio and Donald Rae (Michele) Smith of Williamsburg, Ohio; one sister - Dorothy (Denny) Smith Joyce of Reading, Ohio; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Pauline Elam will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 - 12:00 on Thursday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
