William Ray Pangburn

William Ray Pangburn, age 72, of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at the Hospice of Cincinnati in Anderson Township, Ohio. Mr. Pangburn was a former band instructor for Teays Valley, Williamsburg and Western Brown School Districts. He was a member of the Georgetown Church of Christ and the Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Association, was an Army and Air Force veteran and received his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University. He was born on February 13, 1934 in Felicity, Ohio the son of the late William Vivian and Nellie Maxine (Huggins) Pangburn.

Mr. Pangburn is survived by his wife - Mary Anne (Brooks) Pangburn; one daughter - Tamara Kay Altman and husband, Randy of Moscow, Ohio; one stepson - Michael W. Sowers and wife, Carissa of Georgetown, Ohio; 5 grandchildren - Misty, Megan and Stacey Collins and Kyndal and Jensen Sowers and 4 great grandchildren - Allison, Heidi, Hannah and Patrick.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the Georgetown Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 A.M. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Felicity Cemetery in Felicity, Ohio. Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
