Wilbur Lee McChesney, age 85 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. McChesney was a retired machinist with Cincinnati Milacron after thirty-two years of service. He was an Army World War 2 veteran, a lifetime VFW member and a member of the Ohio Valley Antique Machinery Association. He was born on November 28, 1921 in Neals Corner, Ohio the son of the late Thomas and Lula Ann (Ireton) McChesney. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Brice McChesney and one sister, Velme Gravitt.
Mr. McChesney is survived by his wife - Mattie (Liming) McChesney; one daughter - Becky McChesney of Georgetown, Ohio and several brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Pete Warren will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery with veteran services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. If desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203 or to the Veterans Administration, 3200 Vine St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
