Walter Dennis Hughes

Walter Dennis Hughes, age 59, of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, February 16, 2007 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. Mr. Hughes had been employed by General Motors. He was born on October 4, 1947 in Vallejo, California the son of the late Walter Harry Hughes and Wanda Mae (Graves) Bame of Antioch, California.
Mr. Hughes is survived by his wife - Sherry (Shepherd) Hughes; one son - JR Hughes of Georgetown, Ohio; his mother - Wanda Bame of Antioch, California; one brother - Jim Vaughan of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters - Ann Pinter of Antioch, California and Judy Dermody of Batavia, Ohio and dear friends - Lisa, Darius and Dortha (Peaches) Applegate and Cindy Hill.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Georgetown Church of Christ. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 8899 Brookside Avenue, Suite 102, West Chester, Ohio 45069. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown is serving the family.
