W. J. (Bud) Graves

W. J. (Bud) Graves, age 68 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Graves was the owner of Graves Plumbing and Electric Company, a United States Marine veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was born on June 2, 1938 in Brown County, Ohio the son of the late Harry and Edna (Shoemaker) Graves. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Maude (Waits) Graves; one son, Floyd C. Graves; two brothers, Troy and James Robert Graves; two sisters, Virginia Allen and Mary Lu Williams and two brother-in-laws, William White and Floyd Allen.
Mr. Graves is survived by one son - Rex L. Graves and wife, Kathy of Hamersville, Ohio; three daughters - Melissa A. Hathorn and husband, Jesse of Alabama, Tama K. Jimison of Kentucky and Pamela Sue Parker and husband, Jarrad of Hamersville, Ohio; 13 grandchildren - Travis Railsback, Dillon Brock, Rachal and Whitney West, Jessie, Dawn and Bryce Graves, Larame and Justin Claypool, Mitchell and Brad Hamblen, April Jacobs and Rod Lucas; 9 great grandchildren; two brothers Harry Graves and wife, Etta of Georgetown, Ohio and Lowell Graves and wife, Gail of Seaman, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Lucille Graves of Sardinia, Ohio; former son-in-law, Barry West of Aberdeen, Ohio and former daughter-in-law, Angie Graves.
Following cremation, graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family. If desired, memorials may be made to the Graves Family.
