Virginia Carol (Brown) Kattine

Virginia Carol Kattine, age 89 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, February 07, 2023 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilation Center near Ripley, Ohio. She worked for the former Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio and was a member of the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Carol was born November 21, 1933 in Russellville, Ohio the daughter of the late David and Catherine (Fussnecker) Brown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years – Howard Kattine in 2019, one son – Bruce Kattine, one brother – Charles “Sam” Brown and two sisters – Charlotte McGowan and Sue Moser.

Mrs. Kattine is survived by four daughters – Tara Lierman and husband Denny of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, Nancy Kattine of Sardinia, Ohio, Gail Waters and husband Bob of Russellville, Ohio and Teresa Hensley and husband Greg of Felicity, Ohio; one son – Bret Kattine and wife Nancy of Georgetown, Ohio; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the St. George Catholic Church, 509 East State Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. Rev. Frank Amberger will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
