Vernon Leon Gregory, Jr

Vernon Leon Gregory, Jr., age 78 of Feesburg, Ohio died Monday, August 22, 2005 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Gregory was retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was born on February 5, 1927 in Scioto County, Ohio the son of the late Vernon Leon and Verda (Fultz) Gregory. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Elaine Gregory Bell, two sisters, Violet Germanario and Virginia Harr and one brother, John Gregory.
Mr. Gregory is survived by his wife - Doris Jean (Hobbs) Gregory; four children - Lee Gregory of Cherry Grove, Ohio, Ray Gregory of Bethel, Ohio, Jill Purvis of Eastgate, Ohio and Ellen Guinn of Amelia, Ohio; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother - Bill Gregory of Bethel, Ohio and two sisters - JoAnn Bunton of Georgetown, Ohio and Verda Hardy of Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 26, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Bill Bowdle will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Thursday. Interment will be in the Rosehill Cemetery in Feesburg, Ohio.
