Val Zenith Jenkins

Mr. Val Zenith Jenkins, age 69 of Ripley, Ohio, died Friday, April 6, 2007 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio. He was a salesman most of his life. He was a United States Army Korean War Veteran and a member of The Courts Fussnecker American Legion Post #367 of Ripley, Ohio. Mr. Jenkins was born on June 21, 1937 in Newport, TN. the son of the late Scott and Ruth (Lane) Jenkins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, in 2005, Evelyn G. Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by one daughter, Teresa Ford and husband Daniel of Cosby, TN.; two sons - Val Jenkins II and Jackie Lee Jenkins; one step daughter, Teresa Pyle of Dayton, Ohio; three grandsons, Jonathan, Stephen and David Ford; one sister, Betty Smith of Parrottsville, TN..

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Military honors will be provided at the gravesite by The Courts Fussnecker American Legion Post #367 of Ripley, Ohio.
