Tim E. Brooks

Tim E. Brooks, age 47 of Aberdeen, Ohio died Sunday, December 26, 2004 at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a sports writer for the Ripley Bee and News Democrat and a United States Navy Vietnam War Veteran. He was born on September 19, 1957 in Breckenridge, Texas the son of Phillip and Florence (Heatley) Brooks.
Besides his parents, Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife Cheryl (Trapp) Brooks of Aberdeen, Ohio; one daughter, Jennifer Brooks of Aberdeen, Ohio; one son, Kerry Brooks, at home; one sister, Tracy Waite and husband John of Callisburg, Texas; two brothers, Steve Brooks of Callisburg, Texas and Doug Brooks and wife Cheryl of Callisburg, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 31, 2004 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. James Settles will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 30 from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio.
