Thomas Walter Kattine

Thomas Walter Kattine, age 73, of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at the Christ Hosptial in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Kattine owned and operated Kattine Heating, Plumbing and Electric Co. in Georgetown. He was a member of the Georgetown United Methodist Church, was a Army veteran, a 50 year member of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge #72 of Georgetown, The Royal Arch Chapter of Hillsboro, Ohio, the Syrian Shrine of Cincinnati, American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2293 of Georgetown, the Hanselman Commandery #16 of Cincinnati, Russellville Order of the Eastern Star, Brown County Agricultural Society, Brown County Democrat Club, Brown County Chamber of Commerce, Georgetown Lions Club, the Ohio Steam Engineers Society and the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society. He was born on December 14, 1932 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Walter L. and Marie (Beck) Kattine.

Mr. Kattine is survived by his wife, JoAnne (Meranda) Kattine, whom he married on June 15, 1957; one son, Walter Allan Kattine and wife, Janice Elaine (Crawford) of Georgetown, Ohio; one daughter, Helen Kathryn McElroy and husband, Dana Jay, of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren - Jordan Christopher and Dylan Walter Kattine, Megan Marie, Kelly Jay and Clinton Thomas McElroy all of Georgetown, Ohio and two sisters - Lois Ross and husband Freeman of Lexington, Kentucky and Mary Crabtree of New Port Richey, Florida.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 5, 2006 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Pete Warren will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 P.M. Saturday evening. Interment in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown United Methodist Church or the F&AM Masonic Lodge #72.
