Shirley Ann (Pritchett) Washington

Shirley Ann Washington, 78 of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a caregiver for many and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ripley. Mrs. Washington was born July 17, 1945 in Maysville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Doug and Mary Joy (Fletcher) Pritchett. She was also preceded in death by her husband – Pearlie H. Washington, Jr. and her brother – James Pritchett.
Mrs. Washington is survived by five children – Kevin Pritchett of Denver, Colorado, Gavin Pritchett of Sardinia, Ohio, Jamie Pritchett (Delilah) of Wilmington, Ohio, David Pritchett of Ripley, Ohio and Michael Pritchett (Mary) of Ripley, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters – Diana Thompson of Ripley, Ohio and Rosetta Bealer of Ripley, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday. Interment will follow the funeral service in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
