Shelly P. Johnson

Shelly Phillip Johnson, age 85 of Hillsboro, Ohio and formerly of Mt.Orab, Ohio passed away Monday. September 30, 2024 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, Ohio. He was retired from General Motors in Dayton, Ohio. Shelly enjoyed life and loved the Lord. He was a very faithful believer and enjoyed being a member and attending church at the Bible Believers Baptist Church in Hillsboro, Ohio. Shelly was born May 25, 1939 in London, Kentucky the youngest of twelve children born to the late O.R. and Nora (Clark) Johnson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 47 years – Jean F. (Traylor) Johnson whom he married April 2, 1977; one daughter – Gladys Diane Frazier and husband Marty of Manchester, Kentucky; two grandchildren – William Travis Johnson of London, Kentucky and Cassidy Frazier of Manchester, Kentucky; one great grandchild – Kale Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Pastor Steve Cowgill will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Internment will be in the Buford Cemetery in Buford, Ohio.
