Shane Matthew Morgan
June 17, 1973 — June 10, 2005
Shane Matthew Morgan, age 31 of Manchester, Ohio died Friday, June 10, 2005 in an auto accident on state Route 41 near Aberdeen, Ohio. Mr. Morgan was a member of the Aberdeen Baptist Church and a graduate of Shawnee State University and held a masters degree in Education from the University of Dayton He was a teacher at West Union Elementary School for the past nine years where he really loved and enjoyed the children and his co-workers. He loved to play basketball and softball. Mr. Morgan was born on June 17, 1973 in Maysville, Kentucky the son of Gary and Jeannie (Swearingen) Morgan. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Marlee Morgan, one brother, Scottie Morgan and grandfathers, Robert Swearingen and Howard Morgan.
Mr. Morgan is survived by one son - Luke Morgan of Maysville, Kentucky; parents - Gary and Jeannie (Swearingen) Morgan of Aberdeen, Ohio; one sister - Brittany Morgan of Aberdeen, Ohio; sister-in-law - Kelli Morgan, nephews - Jesse and Jake Morgan and niece Jade Morgan all of Maysville, Kentucky; maternal grandmother - Mildred Swearingen of Aberdeen, Ohio and paternal grandmother - Freda Ross of Middletown, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at the Aberdeen Baptist Church in Aberdeen, Ohio. Rev. Larry Polston will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 - 9 P.M. Tuesday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio .Interment will be in the Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Shane Morgan Trust Fund for son Luke, in care of Integra Bank, 130 Stivers Road, Aberdeen, Ohio 45101 or the Aberdeen Baptist Church, 733 US 52, Aberdeen, Ohio 45101..
