Sandy (Poole) Griffith

Sandra Sue “Sandy” Griffith, age 71 of Ripley, Ohio died Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, Kentucky. She was retired from the Southwest Ohio Developmental Center in Batavia, Ohio. Sandy was born October 15, 1951 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late William Poole and Mary (Mitchell) Dunaway. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald “Domby” Griffith in 2006; one daughter – Melissa Griffith in 2016 and two sisters – Joyce Seip and Judy Burson.

Mrs. Griffith is survived by two children – Wayne Griffith and Christina “Tina” Blank and husband Jeff both of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren – Jeffrey Stewart and wife Amanda, Dustin Griffith, Christopher Blank and fiancé Sharise Cooper, Haley Watson and Destiny Rose Griffith; great grandson – Cooper Blank and many other great grandchildren; one brother – William “Jr.” Poole of Higginsport, Ohio; two sisters – Jane Shelton-Burns and husband Kevin of Georgetown, Ohio and Glenda Fields of Ripley, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
