Ruth Evelyn Wood

Ruth E. Wood, age 83, of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, December 16, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Wood was a homemaker. She was born on February 28, 1922 in Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late Edward and Jessie (Bick) Yockey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph Wood, Jr., one son, Barry Wood and two brothers, Douglas and Malcomb Yockey.

Mrs. Wood is survived by two sons - Larry Wood and wife Tammy and Edward Wood and wife Lesa all of Georgetown, Ohio; ten grandchildren; one great granddaughter and two nieces - Sondra Klinehans and Mary Jean Smith.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 - 9 P.M at the church. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Church of Christ. Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
