Ruth M. (Sue) Hamm

Ruth M. (Sue) Hamm, age 76, of Sardinia, Ohio died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Hamm was a retired Cost Accountant for General Motors in Norwood, Ohio. She was born in Bremen, Kentucky on September 16, 1929 the daughter of the late James Claude and Rittie Caroline (Vincent) Shanks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Denver Hamm; four sisters - Maurine Mabel Lockery, Lela Belle Ford, Ruby Mae Capps and Bernice Green and three brothers - Lawrence Anderson Shanks, Raymond Herbert Shanks and Charles Shanks.

Mrs. Hamm is survived by two sons - David Carl Hamm and wife, Charlene of Winona, Texas and Jeffrey Scott Hamm and wife, Terry of Lancaster, Ohio; five grandchildren - Kerri Beth Downs, Joshua Daniel Hamm, Jeffrey Scott Hamm, Jr., Jennifer Hamm and Sean Denver Hamm; four great grandchildren - Makaylh Lynn, Mykaela Simone, Hailea Nikole and Denver Dean; one sister - Anna Elizabeth Green of Sacramento, Kentucky and one brother - Eugene Shanks of Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 A.M. Saturday, December 24, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Bonnie Keith will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Friday. Interment will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Blue Ash, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to any Shriner's Childrens Hospital.
