Rosella Pettit Ward

Rosella Pettit Ward, age 69 of Ripley, Ohio died Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a member of the Ripley Church of Christ and the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post #367 Auxiliary. She was born on September 15, 1935 in Ripley, Ohio the daughter of the late John and Rosetta Molly (Vickery) Pettit. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Pettit.

Rosella Ward is survived by her life long companion - John Raymond Koewler of Ripley, Ohio; thirteen children - David (Debra) Ward of Ripley, Ohio, Roxann (Danny) Wells of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Jeff (Terri) Ward of Stephensville, Texas, Mike (Pricilla) Carmack of LaGrange, Texas, Chris (Janet) Ward of Ripley, Ohio, John Ward of Blanchester, Ohio, Paula (Danny) Johnson of Warner Robbins, Georgia, Desiree` (Tom) Wood of Holiday, Florida, Christine Shaw of Georgetown, Ohio, Doug (Kellie) Teeters of Aberdeen, Ohio, Richard (Norine) Ward of Sharonville, Ohio, Nowana (Wayne) Bingaman of Ripley, Ohio and Donnie (Maribeth) Koewler of Ripley, Ohio; twenty-nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and three brothers - Charles Hettrick of Moscow, Ohio, John (Pam) Pettit of Felicity, Ohio and George (Ann) Pettit of Huntington, Oregon.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 27, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Revs. John Neu and Clark Castle will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 - 9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Pisgah Ridge Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 415 A½ Home Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121, Ripley Fire Department or the Ripley Life Squad, Ripley, Ohio 45167.
