Rodney Yochum

Rodney Dennis Yochum, age 72 of Sardinia, Ohio died Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio. He worked for Steelcraft for 50 years as an expeditor, a United States Army Vietnam War veteran, a member of the United Steelworkers and the Walter Miller American Legion Post #0394 in Russellville, Ohio. Rodney was born July 4, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Paul and Nancy (Britton) Yochum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife – Janet (Wade) Yochum in 2012.

Mr. Yochum is survived by two daughters – Janie St. Pierre and husband Nick  and Traci Barney and husband Tim all of Mt. Orab, Ohio; two grandchildren – Christian St. Pierre and Maggie Stroop both of Mt. Orab, Ohio and one brother – Jeff Yochum of Sardinia, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the  Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio.  Laura Shreffler will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Monday, February 28, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio with military services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.
