Rodney (Rod) Fryman

Raymond "Rod" Rodney Fryman, age 61 of Ripley, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 10, 2006 at his residence. He was employed at Kellogg, Brown and Root as a machinist. Rod was a United States Air Force Veteran and was a member of the Sardinia Church of Christ.. He was very active in the Sardinia Masonic Lodge, where he was a 32nd degree Mason and was also a past Worshipful Master. He was also active in the Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, Ohio. Rod was born on February 15, 1945 in Brown Co., Ohio the son of James and Bernie (Hauke) Fryman of Sardinia, Ohio.

Rod is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna (Hall) Fryman; one son, QMI (SW) Philip R. Fryman, U.S. Navy; two daughters - Denise Ann Locke and husband, Robert of Athens, TN. and Kira K. Fryman of Ripley, Ohio; four grandchildren - Ashley and Desiree Fryman and Destany and Austin Locke. Rod is also survived by two sisters, Diane and Debbie, and one brother, Danny and sister in law Mary, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his mother-in-law, Marjorie Hall; brother-in-law, Gary Hall and wife Cheryl; sister-in-law, Margie Sims and husband Michael; sister-in-law, Kathy Rodenberg and Husband Chuck; a special aunt, Lynda Jennett, as well as many friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Kevin Hamilton will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery in Dover, KY., with military honors being provided by The American Legion Post #367 of Ripley, Ohio.
