Robert Gene Mock
October 18, 1935 — January 20, 2021
Robert Gene Mock, age 85 of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Mt. Orab Medical Center in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Mr. Mock was retired from Siemens after fifty years of service. He was a United States Army veteran, a member of the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180, the Masonic Lodge F&AM #72, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #2293 and was a Kentucky Colonel. Mr. Mock was born October 18, 1935 in Sardinia, Ohio the son of the late George and Elizabeth B. (Jett) Mock. He was also preceded in death by one son – Jeffrey Mock.
Mr. Mock is survived by his wife of sixty-two years – Thelma (Woods) Mock whom he married December 22, 1958; two daughters – Melissa Whisman and husband Larry of Anderson Township, Ohio and Debra Laws of Amelia, Ohio; seven grandchildren – Zachery, Tyler, Justin, Larry, Codie, Hunter and Alexis; five great grandchildren; brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.
Graveside Masonic Services by the Masonic Lodge F&AM #72 and Military Services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post # 180 will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Confidence Cemetery Pavilion in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
