Richard "Rick" Merrick

Richard “Rick” Allen Merrick, age 50 of Cincinnati, Ohio died Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital in Anderson Township, Ohio. He was a retired team leader for the Ford Motor Company and a member of the UAW 863. He was born August 15, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio the son of the late Sharon (Atkin) Merrick. Rick was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law - Bob and Jane Stewart.

Mr. Merrick is survived by his wife – Shelli (Stewart) Merrick; five children – Rikki Smith and husband Charlie of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Megan Meyer and husband James of Amelia, Ohio, Morgan Turner of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Kayla Pollitt and husband Christian of Silver Grove, Kentucky and Robert Boshears of Feesburg, Ohio; four grandchildren; two sisters – Debra Mounts of Columbus, Ohio and Susie Mounts of Coshocton, Ohio and Aunt and Uncle – Pam and Bill Boyer of Moscow, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio with cremation to follow. Larry Baker will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Saturday. During the visitation and funeral, face masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
