Richard Thomas Vandergriff

Richard, aka Rick Vandergriff, was a man who lived life to the fullest. First and foremost, he was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Richard served honorably in the Navy. He also spent many years in construction as a personal manager. Richard’s greatest passion was the many years of work as a successful antique dealer. He was talented in many ways including playing cards, playing pool, singing, an immense knowledge of antiques, a wanderer in the best sense, as well as being curious and fearless in everything. Richard was enthusiastic in sharing wisdom and his knowledge of many things with all who would listen. He was also quick to bring laughter into any situation without fear of being appropriate and was loved for his quick wit. Most of all though, he loved his family and spent every inch of his life making sure all within his circle of love were always taken care of.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Pastor Mike Parks will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
