Richard F. Garrison

Richard F. Garrison, age 88, of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, October 23, 2004 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Garrison was a carpenter, a World War II Army veteran, member of the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene and the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. He was born on January 27, 1916 the son of the late Walter and Mary Ilenoma (Newland) Garrison. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Sue (Lail) Garrison, whom he married on October 20, 1944; two grandsons - Bradley Scott Brooks and Jacob David Garrison; two brothers - Kenneth and Edward Garrison and one sister, Dorothy High.

A Mr. Garrison is survived by two daughters - Dorothy Brooks and husband, Charles of Georgetown, Ohio and Donna McClughen and husband, Bill of Wilmington, Ohio; two sons - Gary Garrison and wife, Laura of Bethel, Ohio and David Garrison and wife, Kathy of Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Garrison of Georgetown, Ohio.

A Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Steve Gunno will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 - 9 P.M. at the church. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown with military services at the graveside. Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
