Raymond “Ray” Clyde Nash, age 61 of Batavia, Ohio and formerly of Georgetown, Ohio went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the Batavia Nursing Care Center in Batavia, Ohio. He was a former residential truck driver for Rumpke for many years and attended Ripley Union Lewis Huntington High School. Raymond, known by Ray to his family, was an outgoing, friendly, loved reading the Word of God, enjoyed watching movies and was a humble man of God. If you had a conversation with Raymond, there was no doubt before ending your conversation, expect to hear “Merry Christmas” regardless the time of year it was at that moment. Thank You Raymond for reminding us Christmas is every day. We will see you again. He was born June 27, 1960 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Herbert and Mary (Richmond) Nash, Sr. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers – Benjamin, Albert, Everett and Herbert Nash and two sisters – Leona and Virginia Nash.

Mr. Nash is survived by his two younger brothers – Kenneth Nash of Higginsport, Ohio and David Nash of Cincinnati, Ohio; his twin sister – Mary Nash of Georgetown, Ohio and younger sister – Julie Holt and husband Stuart of Cincinnati, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Stuart Holt will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
