Pete Dragoo

John R. "Pete" Dragoo, age 84 of Ripley, Ohio, died Thursday, January 5, 2006 at The Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley, Ohio. He was a Farmer and a World War II United States Army Veteran. He was also a professional photographer in his younger years. Mr. Dragoo was born on July 12, 1921 on the family farm in Brown County, Ohio the son of the late Clarence Day and Bertha Ann (Johnson) Dragoo. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Day (Bob) Dragoo, Jr.; one sister in law, Lois J. Dragoo and a great nephew, Greg Bradford.

Mr. Dragoo is survived by one brother, Bill Dragoo of Ripley, Ohio; two nieces - Betty Campbell and husband Bob of Ripley, Ohio and Judy Young and husband Rick of Sardinia, Ohio; one nephew, Bill Dragoo, Jr. and wife Ann of Ripley, Ohio; three great nephews, one great niece and three great great nieces..

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 8, 2006 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Chad Quick will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
