Peggy Ann Schroth Howser, age 76 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, July 31, 2004 at her residence. Mrs. Howser was the Deputy of the Probate Court in Brown County for many years and clerk of the Brown County Law Library. She was a graduate of Withrow High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Upon retirement, she was a member of the Georgetown Villgae Council and a tireless volunteer for the Brown County General Hospital Auxiliary. She was born on January 14, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Helen (Innis) Schroth. She was also preceeded in death by her husband of fifty years, Harold Howser in 1996 and by five brothers - James Robert (Jim Bob), George, Jr.; William, Charles and Paul Schroth.
Mrs. Howser is survived by one brother - Donald Schroth of Ripley, Ohio; sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at the Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Rev. Matthew Long will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Presbyterian Church, 401 S.
