Pearlie Alice Moran, age 90 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Moran and her late husband, Alfred Moran owned and operated the Town Tavern in Georgetown for thirty-eight years. She was born on February 28, 1916 in Hannibal, Missouri the daughter of the late Bert and Cora (Brinker) Crosby. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Moran in 1995, three brothers, Roy, Joseph and Vernon Crosby and one sister, Helen Prather.
Mrs. Moran is survived by one daughter - Karen Green and husband Mick of Georgetown, Ohio; one son - Dewayne Moran and wife Tina of Georgetown, Ohio; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and one sister - Sarah Drescher of Madeira, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Thursday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154 or to the American Heart Association.
