Pearl Smith

Mrs. Pearl Smith, age 83 of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and formerly of Ripley, Ohio died Monday, September 26, 2005 at The Wesley Ridge Assisted Living Facility in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She had worked for U.S. Shoe in Ripley, Ohio for over thirty years, she was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Ripley, Ohio and was very active in arts and crafts at The Reynoldsburg Senior Center. Mrs. Smith was born on July 10, 1922 in Brookeville, Indiana the daughter of the late Homer and Estelle (Muir) Moody. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smith; one son, Charles Richard Smith; one daughter, Linda Smith; two brothers, James and Robert Moody.

Mrs. Smith is survived by one daughter, Pam Phillips and husband Chris of Columbus, Ohio; one son Terrence Smith and wife Carolyn of Isle of Palms, S.C.; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Jones of Connersville, Indiana; one brother, Larry Moody and wife Helen of Hamilton, Ohio; a very dear sister - in - law, Mary Ann Moody of Harrison, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 30, 2005 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. Jaime Wirth will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio.
