Olan N. Carrington

Olan N. Carrington, age 87 of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Carrington was the owner and operator of the Carrington Farm Supply In Georgetown, Ohio and was an Army World War II veteran. He was born on March 12, 1920 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Cleo and Marie (Huey) Carrington. He was also preceded in death by his wife Hilda (Young) Carrington in 1987; two brothers, Harold and Marion Carrington and one great grandson, Brandon Scott.

Mr. Carrington is survived by two daughters - Alice Kattine and husband Carl "Gunner" and Angela Burns all of Georgetown, Ohio; two sons - Jim Carrington and Gary Carrington and wife Sherri all of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren - Jill Kattine Scott, Chris Kattine, Brian Carrington and Evan and Caitlin Burns; five great grandchildren - Justin and Logan Scott, Jordan and Madison Kattine and Connor Carrington; two brothers - Donald and Wayne Carrington both of Georgetown, Ohio; three sisters - Mary Phillips of Georgetown, Ohio, Betty Glassco of Batavia, Ohio and Wilma Morrison of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road in Georgetown, Ohio. Scott Hennig will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Thursday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery with veteran services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. If desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203 or to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, Cincinnati Tri State Chapter, 151 Galbreath Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45216.
