Matthew Thomas

Matthew G. Thomas, age 70 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday, July 13, 2023 at his residence. He graduated from Mariemont High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. Matt worked for the automotive industry. He began his automotive career in Cincinnati, Ohio before moving out west where he worked for Brooks Cadillac in Scottsdale, Arizona, was the General Manager for a Toyota franchise in El Paso, Texas, Friendly Cadillac, Saturn of Albuquerque and the Galles Chevrolet franchise all in Albuquerque, New Mexico and organized and manage a group of Saturn stores in Scottsdale, Arizona before returning to Ohio. Matt continued to manage auto dealerships in the Kentucky/Ohio area until his retirement and was a devout Christian and belonged to the Berean Baptist church while in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Matt was born February 7, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Patricia (Graham) Thomas and the late Edward Thomas.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife of nearly 42 years – Debbie (Bailey) Thomas; two sons – Patrick Thomas and Steven (Randi) Thomas; two grandchildren – A.J. and Ivy Thomas; one sister – Ann (Steve) Ballard and one aunt - Marge Freshley.

The Thomas Family will be hosting an Open House Celebration of Life Gathering from 1:00 PM to 4:00 P.M on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 9617 West Fork Road, Georgetown, Ohio 45121. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
