Mary Katherine (Mock) Watson

Mary Katherine Watson, age 84 of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Care Center at Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman, Ohio. She worked for Dr. John Donohoo and then Dr. Jeff Donohoo keeping their offices spotless for many years. She was also employed in housekeeping by Health Source and the Villa Georgetown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she retired after many years of service. Mary was a member of the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 Ladies Auxiliary. She was born November 25, 1939 in Sardinia, Ohio one of nine children to the late George Joseph and Elizabeth B. (Jett) Mock. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Charles William Watson in 1993, one daughter – Beverly Watson, one daughter-in-law – Becky Watson, three brothers – Robert Mock and wife Thelma, Sammy Mock and Richard “Dub” Mock and three sisters – Patricia Miller and husband Ashford , Doris Ann Linkous and husband Hobert and Cindy Lou Tracy and husband Ray.

Mrs. Watson is survived by two children – Charles “Butch” Watson and wife Teresa of Georgetown, Ohio and Anita Crace and spouse Eddie Shoemake of Hamersville, Ohio; six grandchildren - Heather Bohman and husband Andrew,d Jennifer Murray and husband Tommy, Andrew Leimberger, Jordan Crace, Joseph Pauley and Elizabeth “Rosey” Pauley; nine great grandchildren – Brantley, Callie and Camy Murray, Zoey and Zane Bohman, Joseph and Aaron Pauley, Bo Davis and Van Valentine; one brother – George “Hook” Mock and wife Dianne of Buford, Ohio; one sister – Bobbie Jayne Burke and husband Mark of Buford, Ohio; one sister-in-law – Rita Mock of Georgetown, Ohio and special friends – Edward Tucker and Dr. Jeff Donohoo.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 20, 2024 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
