Mary L. Scott
June 24, 1921 — February 15, 2005
Mary L. Scott, age 83, of Ripley, Ohio died Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at the Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky. She was a homemaker, a member of the Ripley Church of Christ and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Hillsboro, Ohio. Mrs. Scott was born on June 24, 1921 in Hillsboro, Ohio the daughter of the late Roger Earl and Mary Gertrude (Bowen) Hetherington. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Scott in 1991.
Mrs. Scott is survived by five daughters - Dixie Fite and husband Bob of Cincinnati, Ohio; Dorcas N. Scott of Ripley, Ohio; Danedra O. Porter of Mt. Clemens, Michigan; Daralyn R. Maier and husband, Wayne of Toledo, Ohio; Daina L. D'Andrea of Ripley, Ohio; one son, Roger R. Scott and wife, Paula of Woodbridge, Virginia; 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one sister, Earlene Schumacher of Palmetto, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 18, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. John Neu will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday. Cremation will follow the services. If desired, memorials may be made to the Cincinnati Association for the Blind, 2045 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, the Ripley Life Squad or the Eagles Lodge in Hillsboro, Ohio.
