Mrs. Mary Lucille Ross, age 96 of Aberdeen, Ohio, died Thursday, October 14, 2004 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Aberdeen Baptist Church. A lifelong and noted horticulturist, Mrs. Ross was an alumna of the Barnes Foundation and Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania and a member of the Garden Club of Bala Cynwyd. She was born on February 8, 1908 in Ft. Thomas, KY. the second oldest daughter of Dr. Charles H. And Mayme (Heidrich) Struble. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty two years, Bert Bryson Ross; one sister, Garnett Jones; two brothers, William and Charles Struble.

Mrs. Ross is survived by two sons, Robert O. Ross and wife Wendy of Tura Beach, N.S.W., Australia and Dr. Bruce B. Ross and wife Keyo of Lawrenceville, N.J.; two granddaughters, Suzanne Pamela Shelton of Canberra, A.C.T., Australia and Erika Keyo Weaver of Thornton, CO.; two grandsons, Christopher Brian Ross of Hamilton, N.S.W., Australia and Brian David Ross of Chicago, IL. and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at The Aberdeen Baptist Church in Aberdeen, Ohio. Rev. Larry Polston will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. at the church. Private burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, Ky.
