Mary Elizabeth Butts

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Butts, age 74, of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Locust Ridge Nursing Home in Williamsburg, Ohio. Mrs. Butts worked 18 years in the dietary department of the Locust Ridge Nursing Home. She was born on May 31, 1932 in Mt. Orab, Ohio the daughter of the late Clement and Katherine (Liming) Ellis. She was also preceded in death by two brothers - Clarence Ellis and Clement Ellis, Jr.

Mrs. Butts is survived by her husband, Gene Butts; four children - Jerry Butts of Florida, Connie Lindsey of Georgetown, Ohio, Linda Creek and husband, Allen of Lynchburg, Ohio and Robert Butts and wife, Shawn of Williamsburg, Ohio; grandchildren - Kimberly and Brian Keplinger, Kevin Lindsey, Shawn and Kyle Creek and Robbie, Elijah and Delilah Butts; great grandchildren - Corrin and Connor Keplinger, Logan Lindsey, and Mackenzie Creek; and two sisters - Evelyn Freeman of Sardinia, Ohio and Doris Harris of Ripley, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 12, 2007 at the Fairview Church in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Sam Talley will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Monday evening at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Heartland Hospice.
