Marvin E. Hays

Marvin Eldon Hays, age 86 of Mt.Orab, Ohio died Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Hospice of Cincinnati East in Anderson Township, Ohio. He was a retired mechanic for the Continental Bakery and a member of the Monterey Baptist Church. Marvin was born August 11, 1934 in Brown County, Ohio the son of the late Cecil and Clara (Hughes) Hays. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother – George Hays, two sisters – Flora Wells and Maryetta Johnson and one son-in-law – Steve Hunt.

Mr. Hays is survived by his wife of 67 years – Janeane (Jamison) Hays, whom he married March 27, 1954; two daughters – Terry Campbell and husband Ross and Connie Hunt both of Williamsburg, Ohio; four grandchildren – Jami McFarland and husband Brian of New Richmond, Ohio, Kari Barber of Amelia, Ohio, Cristin Barber and husband Travis of Fayetteville, Ohio and Justin Stone and wife Jessica of Amelia, Ohio; six great grandchildren and one sister-in-law – Rita McQuitty of Winchester, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Alan Clemmer will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 9, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Mt.Orab Cemetery in Mt.Orab, Ohio.
