Marvin L. Franz

Marvin Leroy Franz, age79 of Winchester, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the Hospice of Cincinnati East in Anderson Township, Ohio. He was retired from J.T. Lohrer Construction, a United States Army veteran, a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church in Owensville, Ohio, supporter of the Boys and Girls Club and loved fishing, hunting, woodworking and gardening. Marvin was born May 27, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Leroy and Eileen (Deeter) Franz. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife – Evelyn Rae (Barnes) Franz in 2022, one brother – Dale Franz and two sisters – Bonnie Mains and Linda Waltz.

Mr. Franz is survived by one daughter – Patricia Franz of Winchester, Ohio; one grandson – Richard Block and girlfriend Shannon of Minnesota; four grandchildren – Zander, Elijah, Chloe and Caydence Block; one brother – Raymond Franz and wife Dottie of Bethel, Ohio; one sister – Barbie Hall of Milford, Ohio and many nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends.

Graveside services are currently pending at the St. Louis Cemetery in Owensville, Ohio. Information will be updated when date and time are available. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio is serving the family.
