Mrs. Marjorie Johnson Rash, age 85, of Ripley, Ohio died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at the Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky. Mrs. Rash was a graduate of the Ripley High School in 1938, she was a retired secretary, was a member of the Ripley Church of Christ and was a professional musician, playing the organ for 35 years at the Madeira Church of Christ and the Ripley Church of Christ. She was born in Ripley, Ohio on November 30, 1920 the daughter of the late L. Roy and Jennie Mae (Yearsley) Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Luther Rash.

Mrs. Rash is survived by one cousin - Bill Dragoo, Sr. of Ripley, Ohio; one brother-in-law - Ken Rash of Washington, D.C., two sisters-in-law - Betty Rash of Tampa, Florida and Alice Ruth Rash of Newport, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 29, 2006 at the Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. John Neu will officiate. There will be no visitation. Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio is serving the family. If desired, memorials may be made to the Ripley Church of Christ, 105 N. Third Street, Ripley, OH 45167.
