Margaret Elizabeth (Faul) Whisner

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth (Faul) Whisner, age 102, of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the Villa Georgetown in Georgetown, Ohio. Mrs. Whisner was a graduate of Wilmington College and was a teacher in the Georgetown School District for many years. She was a member of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church, the Russellville Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, the Brown County Senior Citizens and the Georgetown garden club. Mrs. Whisner was born in Lawshe, Ohio on February 20, 1903 the daughter of the late Dr. William Lewis and Mary Elizabeth (Wagner) Faul. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Whisner, who she married on May 8, 1933; three brothers - Dr. Lowell, Daryl and Wilfred Faul, one sister - Norma Borden, two nieces -Phyllis Dickey and Marilyn Lewis and one nephew - William J. Faul.

Mrs. Whisner is survived by four nieces - Joan Colliver of Columbus, Ohio, Margaret Marshall of Russellville, Ohio, Linda Misenheimer of Dayton, Ohio and Winnie Perrill of Florida; one nephew - William Borden of Daytona, Florida; great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Matthew Long will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 12:45 P.M. Saturday with Eastern Star services at 12:45 P.M. Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Presbyterian Church, 401 S. Main Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
