Margaret J. Shepherd

Mrs. Margaret J. Shepherd, age 64, of Georgetown, Ohio died Friday, October 7, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Shepherd worked at the Georgetown Nursing Home for 20 years and then the Villa Georgetown Nursing Home for 14 years. She was born in Brown County, Ohio on November 10, 1940 the daughter of the late Talbert Earl and Hazel Louise (Barr) Carrington. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Donna Crump.

Mrs. Shepherd is survived by her husband, Leo Shepherd; two daughters - Cindy Carrington of Georgetown, Ohio and Tina Tomlin of Hamersville, Ohio; three grandchildren - Tristan Vogel, Gerald Dowers and Amanda Raleigh; four brothers - Frankie and David Carrington both of Georgetown, Ohio, Rick Carrington of Williamsburg, Ohio and Mickey Carrington of Bethel, Ohio; five sisters - Helen Charles of Sardinia, Ohio, Edna Combess of Seaman, Ohio, Dolly Klank of Amelia, Ohio, Candy Kiser of Bethel, Ohio and Kathy Bauer of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother-in-law - Bob Shepherd of Felicity, Ohio; two sisters-in-law - Betty Shepherd of Felicity, Ohio and Virginia Shepherd of Georgetown, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Dave DeWitt will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 2 :00 P.M. Tuesday. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
