Mrs. Lois Jean Catron, age 73 of Ripley, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at The Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of The Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Maysville, Kentucky. She was born September 1, 1931 in Port Clinton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Elizabeth (Vollmer) Bice.
Mrs. Catron is survived by her husband, Albert Catron; one daughter, Gail Jones of Maysville, Kentucky; one son, David Catron of Mays Lick, Kentucky; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bud Bice, of Port Clinton, Ohio.
Due to the power outage, funeral services for Mrs. Catron have been changed to 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 24, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Scott Asman will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. on Friday. Interment will be in Charter Oak Cemetery in Aberdeen, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to The Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, 2371 U.S. Route 68, Maysville, Kentucky 41056
