Lillie E. (Mardis) Devaughn

Lillie E. Mardis DeVaughn , age 84 years, 4 months and 5 days passed away at her residence Monday, August 9, 2021 in Georgetown, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Apple Street Christian Church in Georgetown, Ohio. She loved spending time with her family, friends and her dog, Zoey. Mrs. DeVaughn was born April 4, 1937  in Washington Township, Clermont County, Ohio the daughter of the late Dolly Monroe and Ruth Callie (Dunbar) Mardis. She was also preceded in death by two husbands – James Max Harmon and Ralph DeVaughn and one grandson – Aaron Claypool.

Mrs. DeVaughn is survived by four children – Tim Hiser (Michelle) of Loveland, Ohio, Kim Whisman (Dennis) of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Phyllis Vontz (Jim) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Angie Campbell (Chris) of Georgetown, Ohio; five grandchildren – James (Desiree), Dawn (Richard), Megan (Jefferson), Kaitlin (David) and Lauren; thirteen great grandchildren – Collin, Ethan, Aiden, Simon, Jase, Stella, Allison, Jonathan, Lylah, Juliana, Carter, Lucy Ann and Ryleigh and two sisters – Gladys Woodruff of Felicity, Ohio and Dorothy Abercrombie of Georgetown, Ohio.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the Shinkles Ridge Cemetery near Higginsport, Ohio. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Interment will be in the Shinkles Ridge Cemetery.
