Leon Small

Mr. Leon Small, age 82 of Ripley, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at his residence near Ripley, Ohio. He was a retired supervisor from General Motors. Mr. Small was born in Inez, KY. on September 27, 1923 the son of the late Lewis and Maudie (Deboard) Small. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Alana Small.

Mr. Small is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Mattie Lorean (Cline) Small; two daughters - Teresa Gardner of Fairfield, Ohio and Coleen Chapman of Amelia, Ohio; two sons - Kevin Small and Darin Small, both of Ripley; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Earl Small of Michigan and one sister, Lou Ann of Hardy, KY.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Friday, November 4, 2005 at The Hopewell Cemetery in Montgomery, Ohio. Rev. Raymond Jones will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.
