Lena Y. (Atkins) Wright

Lena Yevone Wright, age 68 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Thursday, September 7, 2023 at her son’s residence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in Loveland, Ohio. Lena was born June 24, 1955 in Mariemont, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles Burline and Virginia Lucille (Sagraves) Atkins, Sr. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Steven D. Wright, Sr. in 2020 and five brothers and sisters – Charles Atkins, Grace Myers, Joseph Atkins, David Atkins and Maggie Minute.

Mrs. Wright is survived by four children – Nisa M. Smith of Temecula, California, Steven D. Wright, Jr. and wife Shelly Stevens of Goshen, Ohio, James P. Wright and wife Christina of Hamersville, Ohio and Joseph A. Wright of Milford, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren – Tara Caligiuri, Lydia Carrington, Nicholas and Leah Smith and Steven, Dakota, Alex, Tyler, Brittney, Sophia, Joseph, Chance, Faith and Jaelyn Wright; three great grandchildren – Isabella Carrington and Michael and Aiden Caligiuri; five brothers and sisters – Lonnie Atkins and wife  Betty of Anderson, Indiana, Andrew Atkins of Fayetteville, Ohio, Lynard Atkins and wife Rachel of Fayetteville, Ohio, Joanne Bower of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania and Michael Atkins of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob, 629 Loveland Miamiville Road, Loveland, Ohio 45140. Bishop Naaman Mitchell will officiate. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in the Williamsburg Cemetery in Williamsburg, Ohio at 1:00 P.M. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio is serving the family.
