Laura Etta Jodrey
January 25, 1914 — December 22, 2005
Laura Etta Jodrey, age 91 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, Ohio. She was a homemaker, co-owner of the former Main St. Hardware Store, a Brown County General Hospital volunteer and a Senior Citizens Center volunteer. Mrs. Jodrey was born on January 25, 1914 in Adams County, Ohio the daughter of the late Samuel Edward and Eva Magdelene (Tamme) Sharp. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Jodrey, five brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Jodrey is survived by three daughters - Shirley (Gary) Haitz of West Carrollton, Ohio, Alberta Moore of Decatur, Ohio and Carolyn (Russ) Snyder of Lebanon, Ohio; one son - Robert Jodrey of Georgetown, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown Life Squad, P.O. Box 184, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
