Laura May Howser

Mrs. Laura May Howser, age 81, of Hamersville, Ohio died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at her residence. Mrs. Howser was the owner and operator of Howser's Turkey Farm, a member of the Shinkles Ridge Christian Church, a 4-H Advisor, Ohio Valley Manor volunteer and was well known for baking angel food cakes. She was born in Clermont County, Ohio on May 11, 1923 the daughter of the late William Henry and Laura Grace (Venable) Gaskin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Howser.

Mrs. Howser is survived by two sons - Gary Lynn Howser and wife, Patty of Georgetown, Ohio and Charles David Howser of Hamersville, Ohio; one daughter - Julie Ann Neal and husband, Bobby of Hamersville, Ohio; four grandchildren - Tim and David Howser, Amber Grace Wallace and Robby Neal; 5 great grandchildren; one sister - June Cahall Howser of Georgetown, Ohio and one brother - William A. Gaskin of South Point, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 15, 2004 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Dave Warren will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. Thursday evening. Interment will be in Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
