Larry R. Moran, age 60 of Red Oak, Ohio died Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a farmer and recently retired from The Ohio Department of Transportation. He was a member of The Centenary United Methodist Church in Ripley, Ohio, The Brown Co. Farm Bureau, The Brown Co. Democratic Club and The Brown Co. Cattlemen's Association. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. Mr. Moran was born on July 6, 1946 in Maysville, KY. the son of Anna Lenora (Brown) Moran and the late Amos Dexter Moran.

Besides his mother, Larry is survived by his loving wife of thirty five years, Rhonda (Gast) Moran; one daughter, Amy Moran of Red Oak and fiancAC. Derek Clifton; three sons - Lonnie Moran and wife Jennifer of Red Oak, Ohio, Aaron Moran and wife Kelly of Red Oak, Ohio and Tony Moran of Ripley, Ohio; five grandchildren; one sister - Donna Sutton, of Ripley, Ohio, one brother - Gary Moran, of Ripley Ohio and many other loving family members and friends. He was also survived by sixty five head of cattle that he loved.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, December 4, 2006 at The Bethlehem Church of Christ, 505 Bethlehem Rd. Winchester, Ohio 45697. Rev. Tom Claibourne will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 P.M. Sunday, December 3 also at the church. Interment will be in Red Oak Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to: The Bethlehem Church of Christ, The Ripley Centenary United Methodist Church, The Red Oak Presbyterian Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
