Larry Lee Mcdonald

Larry Lee McDonald, age 68 of Georgetown, Ohio died Saturday, February 3, 2007 at his residence. Mr. McDonald was a retired manager for Sears and later worked for the Ethicon Endo Surgery Company in Blue Ash, Ohio. He was a member of the Georgetown United Methodist Church and had served as a Gideon at the First Baptist Church in Pekin, Illinois, the Severance Valley Church in Elizabethtown, Kentucky and the Central Baptist Church in Maysville, Kentucky. He attended Cape Girardeau College and served in the Army National Guard. Mr. McDonald was born on October 30, 1938 in Hayti, Missouri the son of the late Deward Edward and Mary Virginia (Cannon) McDonald. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy McDonald.
Mr. McDonald is survived by his wife - Brenda (Hedrick) McDonald; one son - Charles Scott McDonald of Chicago, Illinois; one daughter - Carey Lynn Babka and husband Tom of Toledo, Ohio; his step mother - Katie McDonald of Kennett, Missouri; stepchildren - Tim Hayslip and wife Rowena of Georgetown, Ohio, Brad Hayslip and wife Vera of Goshen, Ohio and Holly Wilson of Georgetown, Ohio and friends - Jerry Wilson of Georgetown, Ohio and Kevin Daniels of Chicago, Illinois; five step grandchildren - Brittany Hayslip of Cincinnati, Ohio, Corey Hayslip and wife Ashton of Anchorage, Alaska, Logan Hayslip of Georgetown, Ohio and Austin and Madigan Hayslip of Goshen, Ohio; Cousins - Shirley Faulkner and husband Brooks and Missy Zalenski and children, Brooke and Zachary all of Smyrna, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Boulevard, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154 or to the Georgetown United Methodist Church, 217 S. Main Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121.
